Accelleron, a global technology leader in turbocharging and fuel injection for heavy-duty applications, has announced the appointment of Ravin Pillay-Ramsamy as President of its Service Division and a member of the Executive Committee, effective October 1, 2026. He will be based at the company's headquarters in Baden, Switzerland.
Pillay-Ramsamy succeeds Roland Schwarz, who has been appointed CEO of OMT, an Accelleron company specialized in fuel injection. Klaus Heim, the current CEO of OMT, will retire at the end of September 2026. These leadership changes come as Accelleron continues to focus on delivering mission-critical solutions for the energy transition.

Pillay-Ramsamy joins Accelleron from Sulzer, where he currently serves as Division President Services and is a member of the Executive Committee. During his tenure at Sulzer, he held several senior leadership positions within the Services division across EMEA and Asia Pacific. Earlier in his career, he worked at Turbine Services Ltd. in the United States, where he served as Business Development Director and Vice President Engineering. His educational background includes a Global MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, a Master’s degree in Management and Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University.
The appointment is significant for Accelleron's strategic direction, as the service division is a key revenue driver and plays a crucial role in maintaining long-term customer relationships.
